Art

If you have read my story Inspiration, you already know something
of my philosophy of art. To put it bluntly, I believe the best art
should fuck you like a lover, sometimes tenderly, seducing your
senses, and other times assaulting you with new feelings,
overwhelming you with color and vision and feeling.

One of the scenes in Inspiration was a reflection on this painting:

I love the sensuality of the piece and the story that it implies.

Art has its seasons and romantic art especially so. The
Pre-Raphaelites created romantic visions in the mid-19th Century
that still enliven our senses and imaginations today. There are many
modern illustrators and artists who work in this tradition of vivid,
evocative imagery. I will list links to some of their Web Pages and
galleries here soon.
